Hi everyone. I'm no stranger to Graham's work but I am new to this forum. You probably don't remember me G but I was on another forum that you were a member of and I tuned into your video chats a few times. I learned a tone from you and I'm still learning. Unfortunately, all my forging stuff was lost in a recent bout of unpleasantness, but I managed to save one of my anvils, so it looks like I'm going to be starting over. Until Iget everything replaced, I'll be keeping a close eye on your work and checking out your tuts.
You are one of the most talented smiths I know G and you have the patience to teach as well. You make the things I wish I could make and hopefully, someday, I'll have the talent to do what you do. I'm still learning everything I can, but I fear this is one of those things that doesn't take long to learn but takes a lifetime to master. At any rate, Graham, You've earned my respect and I hope that you continue smithing for a very long time. | |

Hey Jason,
Glad you decided to stop by my website here and make a post. I remember you from PI and a few of the web broadcasts.
Sorry to hear about loosing your shop equipment. That would definately be a very unkind blow. I have a hard enough time with being away from the shop for a week, I can definately imagine how bad it would be to not have a shop anymore.
Good to hear you plan on getting going again though and I hope its sooner than later.
As always, let me know if there's any help I can provide as you get going again.
Other than that I've just been keeping busy, though unfortunately most of that is not related to the shop. Got a few comissions in the works though, and as always, lots of other projects as well.
Have a good one,
Graham | |
